I delayed writing this review until I'd had the opportunity to test it out in hot conditions. While super comfortable, it seemed dumb to write a review before testing the gear in the specific conditions where it was advertised to truly excel above the other options. AND THEY AREN'T LYING!!!

I was first attracted to the Rockintor Airvora because it has the best coverage of all options on the market (of which I'm aware). I've tried a pile of offerings from all the different brands, from std mtb products to full motocross hard plate armour, searching for better than just central chest and back protection. I took a long hard look at the POC "pressure suit" style jackets and even those offer only partial rib coverage, while the breathability is very low and the jacket material quite fine - I'm not sure how it would hold up to repeated washing. Name a brand or model and there's a very good chance that I've considered it, tried it on, and perhaps owned it.

The Airvora by Rockintor provides hands down the best coverage for any option I've seen, comes in a variety of sizing options, and with the two-piece undershirt/vest combo, doesn't bind up in the shoulders the way many/most offerings that are built more like a jacket or an armoured shirt typically do. It pairs well with a neck brace too, should you wish to use one.

They now have a pre-order for a long sleeved version of the undershirt which has CE2 elbows as well as shoulders, which was my only note of "something's missing/could be better".

I've worn this in 37C for full days and while of course it's noticeable, it's barely warmer than just a jersey. I've never worn any armour that breathes even half this well, and considering the amazing coverage as well as the CE2 rating, I can't imagine why anyone would wear anything else unless obligated by sponsorship.

This is the real deal - offering amazing coverage, comfort, and protection.

*They say it doesn't need to be washed much and to hand wash it, but I've been laundering mine after every use in a mesh bag and it's holding up like new.

**Bonus use case - the fit is so good, and the bulk so low that I can wear this under my moto leathers for track days and road racing. It's CE2 rated, and provides FAR better coverage than a standard moto back protector - so it's a massive upgrade there as well!

Very comfortable and low profile. Very cool and well ventilated. Feels like it would provide good protection in the scenario of a crash.

I’ve finally found body armor that offers complete protection while also being very comfortable. I am very satisfied with my purchase; it has a great design and looks impressive.

Je suis très content de cette nouvelle conception de protection corporelle, elle vraiment confortable, les tissus sont vraiment agréable à porter, on ne la sent pas ce qui rend un sentiment accru de liberté, je me sens en sécurité car j’ai simulé des chocs avec des angles de mur et des pierres, franchement ça m’a l’air d’être efficace. En revanche je n’ai pas mis 5 étoiles car je l’ai reçu avec une la protection épaule droite décousue ? Je vais faire une réclamation.

The armour is extremely comfortable and you can really feel the airflow through the main pads when wearing it. Considerably cooler than any competitor on the market while providing better coverage!

Even had my first proper crash in it this week in Morzine. And while the hexagonal holes did leave their mark in the form of some bad bruising on my chest, they did the job of preventing a broken rib or sternum!

Super Passform. Bei 30° auf den 3-Länder-Endurotrails getragen und bin sehr zufrieden damit. Ein leichter Sturz auf rechte Schulter wurde gut abgefangen. Hatte zwar Abdrücke vom Protektor auf der Haut, aber keinerlei Schmerzen. Ist jetzt mein Lieblingsprotektor.

El peto va perfecto, es cómodo y ligero, el modo climbing ayuda a no pasar calor y la camiseta es también de alta calidad, un producto fantástico, enhorabuena a los creadores y a los que se deciden a comprarlo, no hay otro igual, es el mejor que he probado.

I love my other branded armor, but it is only CE level 1 and I wanted something level 2. This offers more protection, and is cooler and much more functional. Can't wait for the long-sleeve base layer with elbow pads; instant buy for me
